SAMOS & GIAMOS

Named after the two halves the ancient Celts split the year into: Samos, the light, and Giamos, the dark. The concept comes from Gaulish, an ancient Celtic language once spoken across much of Western Europe, where it shaped how the year and the calendar itself were understood. 

Samos is summer, daytime, the world above: the living, the ordered, the everyday. Our white jersey carries this half.

Giamos is winter, night, the world below: the wild, the unseen, home of magic. Our black jersey carries this half.
